They need to just pull a Houston Texans and tank it the rest of the way. Get the #1 pick, draft Phil Kessel (this years Sidney Crosby) and start all over. They've drafted a bunch of great young defensemen, so we should be set there for a while once they are ready. For now, they need to start blowing it up and shipping off all their spare parts for prospects and draft picks. They're not coming back to make the playoffs now...
