I have an opportunity to book a show, and here are the details.

It would be free, there would be free beer, it would be on the Harvard campus (right in Harvard Sq., on Mt. Auburn St.), I would get a stipend in advance to make sure all the bands got payed. The room holds about 100-150 people. The sound is great. It would go down from about 8-11. You would need to be swiped in and out of the building by Harvard students that would be around (I could do this for people myself largely).Absolutely no smoking inside. No weed (I know this sucks, sorry). You would need to not be an asshole to the Harvard students that are there.

Bands I am thinking about:

Cryptic Warning (my own band)
Abhorred
Teratism
Goratory (please?)
Random Acts of Violence
Pillory
TYAG
Porphyria

... and I'm sure tons of other good bands are out there that might be interested. If you are in any of the above bands, or any other band actually, and are interested, email me. This will likely go down in February. If it goes well and nobody is an asshole, I can do it again.

Hey all, thanks for your responses. Basically, I think it would be too cramped to put more than 4 bands on the bill, and I'd like to put together shows where all the bands on the lineup make sense together. I could maybe do a thrash show (CW, RAOV, Abhorred, Watchmaker) and then a DM show and grind show as well? I dunno which one would come first though.

I have to iron out the details with administrative people, but I'm happy to see that people are interested in playing/attending and I'll have some concrete lineups etc. by mid January.

I dunno about putting one punk band on an all-thrash metal show, however, and as I mentioned there are only 4 slots per show.
