New site? Maybe some day.
Suicide Dream will be playing with Overkill as part of a ten band metalfest at The Webster Theatre on April 24. The show is 12+ and tickets are only $15 if you get them through us.
Please e-mail me at shadow@neca.com for tickets. |
How the hell is it 12+? I know alot of 11 year olds who could pass for atleast 13. |
Beats the fuck out of me, but that's what it says on the tickets. |
hey shadow we have some shows, maybe you guys wanna play? let me know man. |
Definitely, just let me know when... |
As far as the age thing, all Webster shows I have ever known about say 12+ on the tickets, my guess is it's for insurance reasons (a big venue that serves alcohol in the same room where there are people under 21 might get a better rate if there are no young children there?) |
Hmmm, I might have to make that trip since Overkill's show in MA seems to be 21+? |
Cool, shoot me an e-mail at shadow@neca.com and I'll hook you up. |
Easy directions to The Webster:
Take 90W to 84W to 15S
Take the Airport Road Exit
Take a left at the light, then another left at your first light
Take a right at the sixth light (Campfield Avenue)
The Webster Theatre will be on your left after less than a mile. |
I think I'll go to this one, sounds like a much better show than the one in MA.
Anyone else going to this show? |
that ten band metalfest sounds interesting. what other bands are on it? |
Dark Descent
Caidema
Eyes of the Dead
Cortez
Silent Charge
That's all I know so far... |
Also appearing:
Fall of Eve
Sines of Life
Zodiak |
how come I don't know any of those bands?
with that said, overkill slays!
Eyes of the Dead is the new project from Ryan Fury (formerly of the heavy/melodic CT band Aggressia). The other bands I'm not familar with... |
me either. but ten bands for $15 is still a way better deal than four bands for $15, especially since I have no interest in seeing red right hand again (or csdo/meliah rage for that matter). i'd rather take my chances with some new bands I haven't heard yet. |
amen to that, red right hand sucks. |
E-mail me at shadow@neca.com for tickets. |
Here's some more info. on the other bands playing. I just caught word that instead of Dark Descent, two other bands will be on this show: Obsidian Halo and Headwrench.
Obsidian Halo is the new project out of Worcester featuring Krista Van Guilder (Guitarist/Vocalist for Lucubro) and Matt Johnson (drummer for Despoilment). Headwrench has been highly recommended to me as an old-school thrash band. |

The appearance of Zack Morris in the corner adds an extra irony to this comment. |
Then again, it's better to be rid of him. |
anyone else from RI going to this? |
