Ravage www.665.org/ravage www.myspace.com/swwr is currently seeking a bassist. Must be a solid player (pick playing preffered)...18+ (21+ preffered)... have good equipment and transportation...must be able to practice 1-3 times a week, usually (1 or 2), and play local shows with an eye toward national / international tours in the near future. We have a completed CD being released on a label soon and will be recording again before the end of the year. Must be a fast learner / able to learn on his or her own from a recording. No drugs/ egos. contact ravaged@rocketmail.com if interested in trying out.

We have shows booked for April, and would rather not play with a 'fill-in' so respond ASAP.

Ravage is perhaps THE ONLY Power Metal band I like. I love that Curse of Heaven disc, Al. You guys own.

Why did Anthony Bud leave? "Musical differences?"

Anthony Bud is awesome! This makes me sad.

Hey, i'll jam with you guys. I've been playing for about 4 years. I have transportation and an ampeg 8x10 cab along with a ampeg svt classic head. I'm also in the black metal band abaroth and fellow 665 band revengeance which practice once a week so we could see if something can be worked out. (i'm 18 btw) Anyways either get back to me on a post here with some more information (practice times etc..) or email me at blehtallica@hotmail.com - Nick \m/

Agreed. Nick is definitely a solid player, especially for Ravage's style.

Who do you guys have drumming for you now, Al?

Is your album done, finally? Finish that shit! I wanna hear it!

Hey Nick and Anthony,

to answer your questions... well, part of the personnel problems we've had recently have been based in the commitment / being in other bands dept

though I appreciate the interest, I must say that at this point
we want to avoid people who are in 6 other bands and are just interested in "jamming" etc
... getting people involved who are even 85% commited always turns out to be a big problem...if we need fill ins we have our share of those already... we really don't want anyone who is remotely associated with any kind of serious band... and if they are, and they really want to join our band, they'd have to quit the band they are in... seems harsh, but I'm not dealing with uncommited, unproffessional people anymore if I can avoid it (I'm not reffering to Phil by that statement by the way ha ha, Phil actually 'Phil-ed in' nicely for us, but we couldn't ask him for anymore... rather, certain people not to be named have made certain commitments to us in the not so distant past / present that they failed to fullfill...or to fullfill in their entirety...that have really fucked things up with the band / recording-wise...the whole deal, making 2004 basically a wasted year for us and making the recording of our first album an utter nightmare...so I'd like to avoid that kind of thing in the future)

who do we have drumming? no one as of yet... we are trying someone out on an interim basis and seeing if it works... if it does, there will be an announcement soon enough... but we are keeping things open if people still want to try out

as far as the recording goes...
we've run into and out of myriad problems from the beginning and it has been hellish...
the CD isn't finished yet, it is coming along slowly...very...very slowly
but it is nearly there...finally

I will have a short clip of one of the songs posted by next week probably
