I still never understood why a band would name themselves after a character from final fantasy 7. That would be like naming your band, "Excitebike" In my opinon, "Excitebike" would actually be a better name.

Sephiiroth is one bad ass fucking villian. one of the best antagonists in a story that i have ever seen. squaresoft did an amazing job with the story line in FF7. although the translation was a little crappy at times... i loved how barret and cid would snap and start swearing like crazy. it was metal.

one of the main servers at my works is called sephiroth.
it makes me giggle cause all the "geeks" left and all the people left over don't know the reference.

squaresoft should never have made ff8.ff9.ffx.

Xenogears...the original... for PlayStation back in 1998... was the best RPG ever. Better than FF7. I'm playing Xenosaga now... it's pretty nasty, I think it'll never live up to the original though.

FFX has a good story though... and seymour is another good villian. but his voice is SO fucking limp-wristed that it isnt even funny.
