to me... Halo is the most over-rated game ever. i had so much more fun with Goldeneye and Perfect Dark and Timesplitters 1 than i ever did with Halo. Halo was such a success because it was the only decent game available on the X-box at the time and for a while. its funny how there are 30,000 better FPS games on the PC but most of them dont get the praise that Halo gets. fuck this game... Tekken 5 is going to fucking rule.

This is very true. I didn't understand what the hype was all about. The graphics didn't look like anything special.. so I figured it must be the gameplay. But the gameplay was just plain. I almost gave up early in the game because it just seemed boring. In the end though after finsihing it, I think it was just barely worth playing. The only cool thing I can think of that they did was only allowing you to carry 2 weapons at a time. I don't know if they were the ones to do this first, but since then I've noticed more games adopting this, such as Call of Duty.

Oh yeah.. I wasn't thinking of this before, but is this game coming out on PC the same time as xbox? the original game took awhile to come out on PC I believe.
