I was incredibly surprised to see Shortie on their roster. They were a shitty local band that I had the displeasure of seeing at a fest when I was living in Sacramento. They seem to have made the transition from nu-metal to emo. From what I've heard the owner of Earache doesn't even like metal anyway.
