Ace Of Spades always meant a lot to me, I was listening to Motorhead before I spoke English and once I start learning, I imediately translated it (at least I tried).

I think of that chorus: "I don't share your greed / the only card I need is the Ace of Spades" . . .
USUALLY when I'm backed into a corner (in my nightmares) being assaulted, that's what I think of. It means you've got a secret deadly weapon and the person who's fucking with you doesn't know what's about to happen to them.
Ace up yer sleeve, in the form of a weapon you can use in self-defense, ideally.

If Iron Maiden were eliminated I bet you 90% of all the post-1985 metal bands you've ever liked would completely dissapear forever. Respect the Maiden.
And on a second note, about AC/DC, if you include Six Feet Under in the "good bands that cover them" category, then you suck, no other way to put it. If you do not include them in said category then I have no problem with your opinion. |
