I would say label mates, but Gwar is off metal blade now. ATR is kind of out of place, but truthfully I like them and they wont be too bad. At least they didnt throw gwar on a tour with throwdown and fear factory. |
|
ya all that remains are cool...kinda like a heavier killswitch, but fuck, Ill be there for fuckin Gwah....assuming theyre gonna get all decked out??? right??? |

They used to be more like a heavier Shadows Fall.
And GWAR is fun to see, but apparently they can't do all they normally would due to the Palladium's size and policies or something. If I remember right. |
|
Its doesn't matter, their shows are still awesome. I just finished listening to Carnival of Chaos and Violence HAs Arrived. Can't wait to see them again.

GWAR have set "War Party" as the title of their new album, due on October 26 through DRT Entertainment. The long-awaited follow-up to 2001's "Violence Has Arrived" was recorded at Wreckroom Studios in Richmond, Va. and was mixed at the Chop Shop in NYC. Handling the production duties was Glen Robinson, who worked with the band on their classic third album, "America Must Be Destroyed". Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Krosstika", "Decay of Granduer" and "War Party".
GWAR will kick off a national headlining tour on October 26 in Norfolk, VA. Support at all dates will come from DYING FETUS.
GWAR w/ DYING FETUS tour dates:
Oct. 29 - Palladium - Worcester, MA
Oct. 30 - Living Room - Providence, RI

bump for the original gwar thread |
|
hopefully they play the same set as the toads place show last may. |
|
Probably not. They have some new shit this tour, and the show is about electing Gor-Gor for president. |
|
well the one i just saw a few months ago had 3 new songs. But they still played like 5 off AMBD, 4 off violence, 3 off carnival, and 2 from TTE and ragnarok. Also they played Vlad the Impaler. |
