um, after listening to this i just have an overwhelming feeling of disapointment. fuck devin townsend. blah blah blah, you can say how metal and more technical it is but it just doesn't sound like log half the time.

I actually don't really like the last recording, it didn't capture what they were like at all. When I saw them live they were tons better than the recording.

i'm not referring to the recording...new american gospel's recording definatly does not do a justice to their live show. i'm just disapointed in the actual song

yeah, actually, that's always one of my comments on LOG. In concert they are great. They put on awesome show with so much energy. This was captured in their Burn the Priest songs. Unfortunately, the LOG cd's doing hit this. I've listened to plenty of LOG, but none of the tracks really stick in my head. With that said, the new tracks they played live were fucking heavy... I am still looking forward to hearing it.
