Someone looked in my nose with a tube for less than 20 seconds to tell me I have a deviated septum- $500. Hit my deductible for the year - great.

I have about a $1000 dollar deductible, and $500 bucks deductible for meds, which means I don't go to the Dr., fuck that noise.

my deductible was 5000. had a very unfortunate ER visit i got metaphorically and financially raped on in june. was there for 4 hours and sent home.

guess it's my fault for not paying attention to my deductible, but damn. just gets more expensive every year.

I wish... $6k deductible one everything. I pay 80% of everything up to 6k, including meds. Bronchitis 1.5 years ago was $180 for the visit and $96 for meds. Pulling my back in August was $110 visit and $90 for muscle relaxers.

I love listening to Hannity say "at a minimum the average is going to be" negating what the word average means... These costs are a huge issue. Problem is what Trump wants would increase the costs to everyone even more. 25 million people would go from having insurance to using the emergency room for their pcp, not paying, and the cost goes to us. IDK what the answer is here.

^ I think the answer is to just give up. Barring a complete collapse / total shutdown of everything, theres no way out of this mess.

Told you Trump was an asshole. Repeal Obamacare, not really. Now he wants to make deals with big businesses that already bankrupted the healthcare system and sent us all up the creak? Asshole!
