just heard official statements on it. one of the suspects was given ample time to state his motivation before biting the dust- said something along the lines of "i'm upset with black lives matter. i'm upset at white cops and want to kill them" and "i'm upset at white people".

About 1:20 a.m., an explosion went off at El Centro. Police said they placed a bomb robot in the area where the suspect was and detonated it, killing him.
