I've was listening to the crust band Doom, and my wife asked what I was listening to. I just said 'Doom' and she replied that it wasn't doom it was 'stinkie crustie'. I explained that Doom picked their name before doom metal was as ubiquitous as it is now.
So I thought, hey, there should be a doom band called Crust. Wifey said being meta wasn't really metal. But then I countered that a lot of hipsters are into Doom.
