ACxDC: LA Weekly premieres new track, band gears up for Maryland Deathfest, European tour, and more

LA Weekly honors hometown favorites ACxDC today with the exclusive premiere of the Angelenos' new track, "Filicide."
As LA Weekly reports, the self-proclaimed "Satanic powerviolence" crew, who share a drummer with Despise You, are "known for their bursts of moshpit-friendly hardcore aggression – both funny and socially aware."
"Filicide" appears on ACxDC's debut full-length, Antichrist Demoncore, produced by Nails drummer Taylor Young (Xibalba, Twitching Tongues) and mastered by Brad Boatright (High on Fire, Tragedy). Antichrist Demoncore comes out June 24th on Melotov Records, distributed exclusively by Deathwish Inc.
Though most of the album's 16 tracks are marked by breakneck blasts, "Filicide" shows off the band's slower side – "don't mistake the lack of speed for a lack of venom," warns the Weekly.
ACxDC are gearing up for a summer full of US and European touring, kicking off with Maryland Deathfest this month.
