I have a crap load of green tomatoes. it's getting too cold outside. what should I do?

If they've startd ripening, pick'em and bring'em inside, they'll ripenn on a shelf. Otherwise, throw a sheet ir a tarp over them at night if you think there's gonna be a frost (the sheet will keep the dew off of them so they won't get frostbitten).

Options:
1) Tarp over them if cold weather is just one night
2) Pick them and store in brown paper bag in basement, they will eventually ripen
3) Pick them and pickle them, they're great sandwich toppers.
