There's the obvious for many of you, Maryland Deathfest. But what else is coming up in 2013(either confirmed, confirmed but no dates yet or just a rumor) that you want to see?

I personally am excited for the Flotsam & Jetsam/Testament/Overkill tour and the Enslaved/Pallbearer tour, as well as Sigur Rós in late March and the Ragnarok fest in Chicago. And DEFINITELY the Riverside/Jolly tour.

What are you looking forward to next year?

George Carlin, Elf, Carnivore, and the new Dennis Hopper movie.

Louis CK at Symphony Hall this coming Thursday, Neurosis in NYC on January 19th and MDF are the only shows that come to mind right now for which I am antsy in the pantsy.

Neurosis are playing in NYC in less than a month? I'm surprised that this is the first i've heard of it.

MDF, Martyrdoom, and King Diamond are the only shows that matter. WTF is a Riverside Jolly tour?

toggletoggle post by MarkFuckingRichards  at Dec 29,2012 10:11am
If there's a King Diamond show, add that to my list.

toggletoggle post by chrisREX  at Dec 29,2012 11:26am
Martyrdoom is going to be three days this year. While that is good news, I'm wary of how expensive that will be. Fucking new york.

toggletoggle post by KEVORD  at Dec 29,2012 11:30am
They might do a preshow on Thursday making Martyrdoom 4 days. I don't think I'm going to all 4 days. I'll probably just go to the best day or best two. MDF is gonna suck up most of my funds.

Dodsferd (whenever it gets rescheduled)

toggletoggle post by trioxin245  at Dec 29,2012 1:01pm
Yea fuck off four day fests. You can fit plentyyyyyyyyy of good bands in two days if you leave out the filler.

toggletoggle post by BSV at Dec 29,2012 1:09pm
My favorite part of Martyrdoom this year was the fact is only 1 day and like $20, no filler killer. Anxious to see the lineup and make plans.

Riverside and Jolly are prog bands, with Riverside being BY FAR the best prog band of the 00's IMO.

Nice call on King Diamond everyone... that is, if he comes. haha

toggletoggle post by KEVORD  at Dec 29,2012 5:14pm
King Diamond already announced a new album and North American tour in 2013.

I believe nothing until I see dates.

People were certain he'd be playing MDF 2012 too.

Meshuggah and Enslaved in Boston.

toggletoggle post by Dylan_Thomas at Dec 30,2012 2:55pm
Quicksand.

toggletoggle post by Randy_Marsh at Dec 30,2012 2:58pm
Saw Meshuggah and Enslaved last year...Will see both again for sure especially now with that new Enslaved album out.

I'm curious to see the line up for this year's Martyrdoom and will am still deciding whether I want to go all 3 days of MDF or just the last 2. The only band I really care about seeing on Friday is Carcass.

toggletoggle post by boblovesmusic   at Dec 30,2012 3:17pm
MDF definitely. This will be my 5th one plus it's my anniversary with my girlfriend weekend
