anyone else digging this album? I love it. Rob Lowe's vocals are ON and the riffs and structures are good old Candlemass but refreshingly not used up or tired.

lol @ people who say 'metal is dead'

You sure do love this album. It's killer.

toggletoggle post by trioxin245  at Jul 19,2012 10:49pm
eh Im not saying its the best album ever it was just good to hear the band still has a lot to offer in 2012.

It's good but Death Magic Doom is better. They fired Lowe right before the tour started citing 'Poor quality of the live vocals'?!?!

I listened to a few tracks at work last week and didn't love it but I have a feeling its gonna be a grower.

yea I heard about the live vocals thing. They sound good on the recording tho . And i liked death magic doom but for some reason I like this better.

I've yet to hear.
And metal is dead. Lol @ taking old school bands then loling @ people who say metal is dead when you should be loling @ bands like Dividing the Skyline, Attack Attack, and Trivium.

i was just listening to "Nightfall" and realized that the main riff is lifted and used in "Unas Slayer of the Gods". fancy that.

I still haven't heard this record or the new Evoken. If it turns out that I love both records and the new My Dying Bride comes out by the end of the year as it's slated to, this will be a good year for Doom.

this disc is not only good, but you can play it around "normal" people and they won't get annoyed. I think that makes it GFM.

Great CD. From what the band says it is going to be their last cd. But, they are staying together as a band for shows.

Good song. Reminds me that I own Death Magic Doom. I'll have to dig that out soon...
