Agalloch and Hammers on the same bill? fuck me running; that would rule.

As much of a no-brainer as that seems to be, I really hope that Hammers has every chance to play more than 4 songs this time. Putting them in front of another band would risk that. They're scheduled to go on at 10:30 so I bet people could run next door after Hammers and still catch most or all of Agalloch.
Awesome, the song starts off with samples from Svankmajer's Faust. This is one of the darkest and most Black Metal sounding songs from Agalloch .

how can this band be a pop metal band with Ashes Against the Grain and then all of a sudden turn into a black metal band? Trend fucking band. Thats how.
Incredible as always, their setlist was very similar (if not the same) as mdf. So honored to have seen 'You were but a ghost in my arms' the first time they've ever done it live, and again tonight. So pleased that the majority of their songs were from 'The Mantle.' It was nice arriving just before their set, too.
