While this asshole may be an idiot, though he's probably just a troll (so an idiot), give me a break. People don't just come to you even if you're in a great band. It takes a lot of work trying to get yourself noticed. Anyone dumb enough to post here asking for a show IS probably in a shitty band, but if you don't go out and talk to people you don't just magically get shows. I know of a number of really great bands in the area that do no self-promotion and have very few decent shows to show for it. I know a lot of shitty bands associated with this site that promote the hell out of themselves and THAT is exactly what gets them shows. Moron.
