Famed black metalers Inquisition have announced a 6 month New England tour consisting of 160 planned shows. They will play every New England city with a population of 30000 or more as well as a number of small mountain hamlets consisting primarily of wealthy New Yorker's summer homes. When asked to explain how such a small area can support this level of over-saturation singer/guitarist Dagon stated "it worked for Goatwhore". Joining Inquisition for this venture; none other than Goatwhore.

They get to camp out in my apartment before I drive them to Keene. I think its pretty Damn awesome to get to cook And drink with these guys in my place. And no. No evil spells will be cast. Just booze And vinyls

I camped out in an apartment once. Woke up when the police barged in. Seems the people who lived there weren't so into smelly strangers sleeping on the floor.

"They get to camp out in my apartment"LOL...Have a little respect for the guys bro.

Do them the favor and be prepared to get them a hotel room,Ive booked Inquisition several times and they won't put themselves in the position of smelly couches/futons,fanboy Q&A and strange peoples apartments.I'm sure you can spare the $50 for a clean hotel. Also they're not big drinkers but like a little whiskey after shows.

toggletoggle post by geminiII at Mar 24,2012 12:51am
My apartments in the middle Of the woods on acres of land with unslept in clean beds in a private loft. I've got Good Bourbon for them and they wont be bombarded with fans so they can get proper respect and isolation. You, fine retard, should log in next time You chose to insult. Suck on a templars shriveled Jew cock ASAP

toggletoggle post by geminiII at Mar 24,2012 12:54am
I've got major respect fir Inquisition. And.... I'm providing them with Amps and cabs. Drums And cymbals. And escorting them with a 15 seat van. I know you're trying to help but really.....

toggletoggle post by Low Class US metal scenesters at Mar 24,2012 2:07am
Its OK my friend,Just letting you know what they actually want and what they state in their rider. No one likes suprises even if with good intentions. Why do i need to log in,did i insult you?

This may me one of the most immature posts I've posted here but the reason I haven't ever listened to this band is because of everyone talking about it here. Not gonna lie. My intuition has served me well in the past. If they become big enough I'll just hear em at a sports game.

that's mainly what i was referring to. why would they do that on the albums but not live?

toggletoggle post by Chernoble at Mar 26,2012 10:00am

assuming its not that easy to keep a consistently mid-range/monotone vocal pattern when your playing the shit out of your guitar live?

I'm feeling FIMS on this one. I'm a firm advocate of keeping recordings consistent with what you can pull off live. I dug a few of the songs I checked out but the vocals are pretty horrendous.

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Mar 26,2012 10:36am
My 2002 self is LOLing how popular inquisition got... To the point where I wanna say SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT THE BAND!
they put on a great show, simple as that.

toggletoggle post by FuckIsMySignature at Mar 26,2012 10:47am
all things considered i still wish i could check them out live to make a better judgement then. maybe i'll get another chance in the future.

toggletoggle post by MB at Mar 26,2012 10:50am
The live show is indeed great. As for the vocals, they sound exactly like Immortal ca."Battles in the North".. nothing shocking.

Live and Studio are two different beasts entirely. It's certainly not invalid to desire consistency, but there are so many outliers (good and bad) that consistency is the true outlier. Live is purely performance art and entertainment is key. A sloppy band that rock the fuck out can often beat a perfectly tight band that has no stage presence (Necrophagist anyone?). The studio also gives you tools to take the basic song and arrange/orchestrate things that no 4/5 piece band could ever reproduce. In that case isn't it ok to use the maximum potential the studio setting offers to create an impeccable album even if it's impossible to reproduce it live. A right live band that puts out well crafted albums is ideal especially when they can identify and utilize the different strengths the stage and studio have to offer.

This view also accepts the reality that some bands will always be awesome live and might never put out a listenable album, and that the reverse is true as well.

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Mar 26,2012 10:57am
It should be said that black metal was never meant to be judged on live performances.

toggletoggle post by Noteworthy at Mar 26,2012 11:01am
It should be noted that music was never meant to be "judged" uniquely by different people. You are all sheep and you must all conform to Aril.
