Australian band that creates incredibly epic melodies and atmosphere. A must have for fans of Summoning, Darkspace (some parts remind me of them, albeit M.O. is more melodic), or any other band that creates this kind of atmosphere. I guess the shoegazy crowd would like it as well.

I've had both discs in my cd player for about a month now. Fucking unreal.

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Jan 15,2012 11:55pm
Every song is awesome. Might be a tad overkill with the amount of music, but damn.

toggletoggle post by burnsy at Jan 15,2012 11:59pm
Yeah, it's a noble effort to say the least. The first track on the second disc is so good. I love his vocal style.

Jim...you've commited meto seek and buy! Alicia found me pasage d'hiver and I'm a big fan of them and Dark space. M.O. is a must

toggletoggle post by Geminiii at Jan 16,2012 12:14am
Yeah...That stuff is ethereal..Thanks bro for sharing!

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Jan 16,2012 12:16am
awesome. paysage d'hiver is a great band. I really want a copy of the Paysage D'Hiver split they did with Lunar Aurora. The Lunar Aurora song on the split is incredible.

toggletoggle post by CurlyRed at Jan 16,2012 8:23am
I like when bands put that ambient sound in their stuff. I going to have to download some of this.

toggletoggle post by joeyvsdavidlopan  at Jan 16,2012 1:35pm
I went to go check the price on this and somehow missed from this thread that it was a double disc. Will be ordering the second some cash flows in.

toggletoggle post by BSV at Jan 17,2012 3:38pm
been backing this hard since it came out. great album for outdoor isolation and dreary days landscaping.

toggletoggle post by Demondave on the demonrails at Jan 17,2012 3:42pm
I listened and it wasnt bad, but I'll conceed my hard wasn't in the best place for something atmospheric. I'm going to try again with drizzly overcast weather and an hour on a train

toggletoggle post by BSV at Jan 17,2012 3:43pm
sounds amazing on headphones.

Thanks for uploading the 128kbps version. Here's the 320 for people who listen with headphones: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=G7669K7W

And their 2009 release @320, Firmament: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=PDGAROR2

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Jan 18,2012 8:28pm
I didn't upload it, and have the actual album. Sorry, 128kbps sucks. Posted the first one I found.

toggletoggle post by frankovhell at Jan 19,2012 10:16am
Cool band. The vocals are meh but the music is awesome. I think this band listens to Lycia.

The more I read this, the more I realize it's spoken like a true person who doesn't buy albums. /bullying

toggletoggle post by ark at Jan 19,2012 10:20am
sucks there's no vinyl. i hate buying CDs, but i might make an order from that label soon.

toggletoggle post by Alx_Casket  at Jan 19,2012 10:56am
Pretty sure we both follow the "try before you buy" mantra. I just like hearing the cymbals when I first listen.

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Jan 19,2012 11:10am
yes and nope, I still blindly buy albums without hearing the band first. Thats why I don't like sites like last.fm. I like finding out about bands myself, without the aid of social networking or the internet.

toggletoggle post by Ancient_Master  at Jan 19,2012 11:12am
this is good

toggletoggle post by Alx_Casket  at Jan 19,2012 11:23am
I don't like making ignorant purchases, there's no thrill in it for me when I end up buying a shitty album because there was some cool cover art, or whatever.

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Jan 19,2012 11:26am
Why not? I have regrettable purchases, but it doesnt bother me. I'd rather blindly buy an album and not like it, then download everything ever. Don't you feel guilty downloading shit all of the time??

toggletoggle post by Alx_Casket  at Jan 19,2012 11:28am edited Jan 19,2012 11:29am
Nope. I buy what I like a lot and support the artists who I think deserve it.

I do feel guilty when I ignorantly waste my money supporting shitty bands, but that doesn't happen anymore.

toggletoggle post by burnsy at Jan 19,2012 11:32am
Haha talking about guilt when it comes to downloading, while providing download links. This discussion belongs in another thread. Talk about MO or kindly gallivant to another thread.

ITT: PEAKING INTO THE ART STUDIO BEFORE THE ARTIST UNVIELS IT

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Jan 19,2012 11:35am edited Jan 19,2012 11:35am
Provided links to buy the album.
MR DOWNLOAD here gets mad for me posting 128kbps mp3s.

toggletoggle post by Alx_Casket  at Jan 19,2012 11:35am
aril's just jealous that I found better download links, that's all. Oh, and he hates freedom and America.

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Sep 18,2012 11:22am
Love this album still. Classic.

toggletoggle post by Burnsy at Sep 18,2012 11:22am
Fuck yeah. I still haven't gotten firmament. Gotta get on that.
