I've managed to see Obsidian Tongue a decent amount of times, they are a solid duo.

Darkwor aren't from Boston but they're nearby, and I like their music a lot. They don't seem to do many shows though.

Aril didn't dismantle the original NEBM page on FB. Butthurt Frontier Boy took it down after being trolled by Richard Cranium for spouting his own ideals and preaching them as gospel among the region. Should have been made as an open group so it would be easier to follow rather than have to go to the page for updates.

Obsidian Tounge sounds like a quintet, they blew me away the one time I saw them. And thanks man, I foresee a nu-Darkwor playing out again this summer.

Mythology i believe is from the Burlington VT area, and i think they play the Boston/Worcester area more than they do their hometown. so as far as i am concerned, they are local, and indeed awesome. always a joy to see at Ralph's.

Close. They're from Plattsburgh, NY. Nathruzym (another good black metal band) is from the Burlington, VT area.
