Yeah i might just jump on that now cause its so close. From looking at the map of other hotels theres only one other thats really within walking distance. (about 10 minutes) its not as cheap but it has a Tiki bar...

Just got a 2 double bed + cot room for 12/5-12/12 for less then $50/night with my AAA discount and penchant for sweet-talking Indians. Check out the Knights Inn, 1/2 mile away from the venue, if you're still looking.

Is this shit actually happening? I planned on going but now they are changing venues and tickets are still not available to purchase. Bad signs.
Yeah, it's definitely happening. I think the venue change was for the best, only holdup is on the pre-fest tickets, although I think I'll be seeing the Axeman show that night if the pre-fest loses any more bands, so no loss.
