I'd like to think I've called a lot of nights "one of those" in my years of playing sketchy shows. Please elaborate on what I should expect?

Why does every show in CT have like 20 bands on a bill?

You drive into Montclair and you'd swear you were riding through Weston. You'll park in a REALLY nice looking downtown, probably near an upscale Mexican (I think) restaurant or Urban Outfitters.
Next, you'll follow the nearest kid in a dirty ass vest into the basement of said restaurant.
From the smell, you'll think you have simply walked into Mordor.

Josh just went a little overboard this time I guess, but part of it also has to do with the El 'n' Gee. The people who run that place are fucking morons who will throw bands on shows without informing the promoter at the last minute, not to mention they run the place like a daycare (under 21 is stuck in the porch area and can't actually leave the venue). Not bad sound in there, not the most ideal place, but definitely much less hassle for someone such as myself to go to New London than Boston.
