Metalville Records is releasing two highly anticipated albums tomorrow June 28th: DEGRADEAD's "A World Destroyer" and SHRAPHEAD's "Blind & Seduced". Both albums are streaming in their entirety courtesy of AOL Music at http://music.aol.com/new-releases-full-cds
Hailing from Stockholm, Sweden and playing their patented brand of Melodic Death Metal, a la In Flames, Dark Tranquility etc., DEGRADEAD present their highly anticipated third album, "A World Destroyer". Produced by DEGRADEAD and Jonas Kjellgren (Scar Symmetry, Centinex, World Below) and recorded at Peter Tägtgren's (Hypocrisy, Pain) Abyss Studios in Pärlby, Sweden, "A World Destroyer" follows up 2009's critically acclaimed "Out Of Body Experience", an album that was pure ear candy for Melodic death metalheads. Solid chops, excellent songwriting and execution and tight musicianship abound on "A World Destroyer". It is no small wonder that In Flames guitar wizard Jesper Strömblad called DEGRADEAD "The Future Of Metal".
Hailing from Eidskog, Norway, "Blind & Seduced" is the long anticipated full-length debut from rising stars (and damn hard working band!) SHRAPHEAD. Although a very young band by age, SHRAPHEAD have paid their dues logging in many live appearances in Scandinavia, opening for Metallica recently and playing the prestigious 2011 Wacken Open Air festival this summer. Focusing on a modern Thrash Metal sound, "Blind & Seduced" is a large and solid step forward from the 2006 4 song e.p. "Ageless" and solidifies SHRAPHEAD's future on the Norwegian Metal scene.
