The name of the project is Dhampyr. As of yet, I have released three albums officially (one internet release). Since the inception of the project in 2006, I have handled all instrumentation myself, but now feel that it might be in the best interest of the band to expand the horizons of the project. As regards the position, I am looking for an individual well-versed in the field of black metal - NO hipsters/scenesters/emos/punks/thrashers, etc, etc. Whether you have your own equipment is unimportant to me. Flashy amps, cabinets, and "pieces" are all folly to me. Dhampyr is not a live band, and never will be. Ideally, you will record in my "studio," and will have full advantage of the equipment I have (which, as it were, is not very much.) If the experience is pleasant, you will be considered for future releases and, in possibility, as part of the band. I have tried numerous guitarists before who honestly played my impatience more strongly than they did their guitar. Do not be mistaken, however - I am not looking for a "noodler" or a "techy." That is all nonsense. I am looking for a competent, interesting, like-minded individual who carries a distrust for the human species - one who harbors a defiant certainty in the power of black metal in the face of the glitzy and insufferable modern world.
If you enjoy waking up in the morning, you needn't bother contacting me!
