I saw Neuraxis on Carving North America's Epitaph tour which was one of the best (maybe THE best) death metal shows I ever saw. Neuraxis was the funniest band of the night in terms of the singer's stage banter.

1. I am elated to see they aren't playing this years NE-shitcore'metal'fest.

2. Their Myspace says they are playing Club Hell on 2/20... not worcester

3. I'd shit myself if they get Augury to play with them on 4/22

so, what do people think of this new album? Neauraxis used to be one of my very favorite bands until they lost their vocalist. I thought that The Thin Line between was lacking in the vocal department and I didn't like the new musical direction. I had pretty much given up on the band, but I just got around to listening to Asylon and I am pleasantly surprised.

They seem to be trying new things and the vocals are much improved. Just a first impression, but I was curious what others think about it.

I just downloaded the whole album. Will listen soon.
