i haven't smoked since yesterday, and i'm about ready to choke someone. any successful quitters out there? how the fuck did you do it?

toggletoggle post by BornSoVile   at May 17,2004 7:50pm
I didn't do it but I've gone a week or two without one. Things that help you quit,
1. Get poor
2. Don't get drunk or fucked up
3. Smoke menthol 120's (yeah it doesn't count but makes you want to die)
4. Gum, video games, pussy, driving, and rttp help these matters as well

thanks for the tips. Now i need to know how to get pussy without alcohol!!!

toggletoggle post by BornSoVile   at May 17,2004 8:06pm
that's easy, run and work out.

I think smoking is worse than clubbing baby seals.
expecially since when you club baby seals around me, I don't have to breath them in.

I quit a year and a half ago. I smoked a pack a day for 13 years.

Mind over matter, tell yourself that you are strong and can kick it and you will!

I bought a bunch of sugar free root beer barrels and sucked on those a lot.

Good luck bro, you can do it. It is such a dumb habit.

The less money you spend on smokes = more money to spend on CDs.

toggletoggle post by Dread_104  at May 17,2004 8:52pm
yeah, it really is a dumb habit. especially if you consider the fact that i started working out a couple of months ago. smoking and lifting don't really compliment eachother.
thanks for the support. i was just ready to break down. then i read the thread and decided i'd feel way too guilty

I vote if anyone sees scott smoking, we takehis b33r away from him and have someone fart in a glass and make him huff it.
or we can just support him...

sorry, most people in my family died of cigarettes and being around them makes me ill!

toggletoggle post by Dread_104  at May 17,2004 8:59pm
actually Aaron, fart huffing is another habit i'm trying to quit. One vice at a time tho...

toggletoggle post by silky  at May 18,2004 7:59pm
start running every day and even a single drag off of a ciggarette will make you want to die. I smoked for ten years and that's the only thing that worked for me. it even works when you're drunk.

smoking is one of the least attrative things. i hate breathing in someone's elses death

toggletoggle post by succubus  at May 24,2004 6:07pm
when you smoke you are paying someone $$$$ to kill yourself sooner

now QUIT dammit!

I only smoke things that taste good, like cigars, cloves, and... other stuff.

Edit: Of course, I mean that I find them to taste good. I am well aware that many people hate the taste of the aformentioned products.

Ive smoked for about seven years and quit cold turkey for about 6 months, no cigs whatsoever I have an addicting personality where I want to do evertything in excess but honestly when I know its time to quit I am able to just stop. I do still smoke occasionally but not as a habbit
