Getting a new cellphone. I don't want a smart phone. I don't care about apps. I don't want to video chat or update my facebook status while I'm hang gliding. In fact, I fully intend to ask Verizon to block any incoming picture messages.

Right now I have an LG EnV2 with a flip screen and a QWERTY keyboard which I've decided is a must because as effeminate as texting really is, it beats the hell out of calling people and listening to them UMMM and UHHH over the phone. I liked this phone a lot until it started powering down on it's own. Right now it's about as reliable as Antonio Cromartie on father's day.

When I explain this to a Verizon salesperson they roll their eyes like you're the most backwards dark ages barbarian ever to set foot in their store, and you just asked if you can dig a hole in their showroom floor to take a shit.

I'll accept either helpful phone recommendations, or photos of hilariously outdated technology.

The EnV3 has a 3 star review on the Verizonwireless website. Considering most people are retards and write their reviews the moment they slide it out of the box, a 3 star review is probably a -2 on the reality curve.

i have a voyager. only use it for texting calling and taking shitty pics. pretty reliable and userfriendly. has a touch screen and a flip open with qwerty keyboard.

Well, its just the newer version of the phone...if I didn't know anything about the phone other than that, I'd say look into it
