New site? Maybe some day.
We'll I'm supposed to open a store in Cambridge tomorrow at 7am. I'm down in RI and intend to take the commuter rail in. Should be interesting. I hear chatter in my company of opening up late, but I can;t see that changing my plans.
I will be up at 4:30 am on the net looking for delays on the MBTA commuter rail website ..... |
I cannot WAIT to drive to work tomorrow morning. I am so excited.
Work for me already got canceled tomorrow. I went to shovel my driveway and the snow is falling so fast that it looked exactly the same as when I'd started when I got done. wild |
POWDERED DONUTS MAKE ME GO NUTS |
UPS never stops. I will have to be @ work tomorrow unless i'm dead or dying. |
ill be up at 330 for snow removal weeeee |
my GF and I both have off tomorrow! |
I do not work until 1pm. Time to hit up the gay bar. |

at my girlfriends house in attleboro where we are apparently getting 2 feet of snow expected. going to attempt to make it to work tomorrow but probably just gonna callin instead.
snow angels > cubicle |
Work emailed me saying "we recommend you take public transit tomorrow, as the roads will be bad." Jolly times. |
I had the day off anyways. |
Thank god I live in nashua where public transit is almost nonexistent, seriously takes the bus an hour to get 15 minutes across town due to the stops/routes
thank god for also work overnights and using "they havent plowed my hood yet" as an excuse |
Time to hit up the gay bar. |
Sounds like a personal problem.. t
his must be the source of where set others on fire. |
snow wasnt invented til ww2 by the germans in order too trick American's into getting lost in France |
theres alot of cocaine outside |
Everyone who doesn't have work today can suck a dick. Just spent 2 hours shoveling my car out, THEN the landlord shows up with the snowblower. How convenient. |
fuck snow, already had my first dick private plowman of the year
"next time imma plow ya cah in and den tows it, 210 dollahs it will cost ya" |

Did you stretch before shoveling. Cause I didn't..
Fuck my back. |
Nope, just rolled out of bed and right into the shoveling. I can't feel my arms. |
When Jim carrey was awesome..fuckin a |
Still a blizzard here awesome! |
I should really get out of bed but but is so cold out |
wow.... my house is so cold. I've been trying to get my house warmed up. |
Up at 6:30, plowed the driveway (for the 1st time today), drove wife to work, eating breakfast, then home for more plow + snowblow action. Technically, I'm WFH, but I don't think there's a lot going on this week. |
somehow managed to haul my ass into work. hour and a half drive thru shitty traffic and pooly cleared roads. thought i was late only to find out we are not opening for another hour and a half. free breakfast though. woo. |
Ended up getting to work 2 hours late even though I woke up an hour and a half early. Everything at work has been completely fucked up. I don't understand why there are so many trains running today; hardly anyone has had to get to work on them. Fuckers. |
Just make sure you don't kill anyone...AGAIN. |
Fuck you Tim, you can't tell me when I can and cannot kill. |
No work for me. Going to make poppy tea and play video games all day. |
I was playing video games, but not now. going out in the snow to play! |
Got to work 3 hours late. The only people riding the train at 11:30 were drinking out of flasks in their inner jacket pocket. Then they started making whistling sounds at each other, like some hobo mating call. Probably going to forest hills to go suck each other off in the arboretum.
Roads are somewhat cleared, sidewalks have barely been touched yet. |
I am looking outside and only see like 4 inches of snow. My car isn't even covered. |
That's what she said.
Literally. |
just finished clearing out the neighborhood, but i'm sure the wind will undo our work. time to smoke weed and cavort. i have a busy week off ahead of me. |

made me snort on my drink
Downtown Lynn covered in more cocaine than usual. |
May a hail of rock salt fall upon Malden. |
Worcester got hammered, we got like 14 inches or so. i haven't heard wind like that in a long time, it was pretty scary at some points. i could hear my roof cracking and popping. |

I'm in Malden. Plows pushed a good 3 feet of snow all around my car. At first I thought I could brush off my windows, chuck it in 4 wheel drive, hit the gas, and just make the snow my bitch. But when I couldn't open my car doors to get inside I knew it was time to take the walk of shame back to the house to get a shovel. |
One more reason I don't miss living in Malden. |

No way, hello neighbor. I'll gladly shovel you out for beers. |

I'll take it over Medford. At least in Malden (or the area I'm in) I don't have to clear my entire day's schedule to ensure I have a parking spot during a snow emergency.
Getting towed = not fun. |

Damn it. Now you tell me? Also, I have jager in my freezer. Is this offer good through hurricane season for boarding up windows as well? |
I live in Medford, they plow pretty well here. The biggest bonus is that I don't have to pay to throw out my trash anymore. What a crock of shit that was! |
haha. I just bring my trash to work and chuck it in the dumpster. Fuck pay-to-throw.
I was mainly just commenting on lack of street parking during snow emergencies. Malden is like "you can't park on THESE streets". Medford was like "You can't park on... streets." |
I guess that's news to me since I have my own private spot. And yeah, I brought all my trash into Everett to drop off. I mean, that's where it belongs amirite? |
allstons city lot is free for 48 hours after a parking ban is declared...just got my car out this morning. |
Yeah I read on Malden's web site that if you're fucked for street parking there are a couple of lots you can park in. But they're tiny and far away. Catching a cab to and from my car at night and then again before work seems a tid bit retarded to me. |
Aaah, city living. I don't miss it. |
In Worcester, this storm was a joke. We got nothing close to what the news reports said. 7" maximum. A giant ploy for television ratings. |
wait what? i got like 13 inches at my house and the surrounding area. |
At my house on ye olde Grafton Hill, there was not much to speak of. Must be the protective barrier this fabled area emits. Or the heat of a 1000 ghetto blasters melted it. |
yeah the snow settled very unevenly. some places with higher winds got less, but valleys were buried. |
At the top of Burncoat, my driveway was clear and everywhere else had either a dusting or 18", the gusts were fierce. |
