I'd book Black Pyramid at Flywheel Andy. I've been to a bunch of loud shows there. There were sound issues when they opened but since there haven't been any problems.
The Flywheel is a dry venue because it's difficult to run a legitimate all ages venue with a liquor license. Some members spout a belief in sober show experiences, and I guess I get where they are coming from, but there are bars within walking distance and drunk/stoned fucks come in all the time and are not turned away. I would be happy to talk booking/space details with any bands who network on this site.

I really don't think noise would be an issue at all. Salvation played there and I thought my head was going to explode. Nothing happened. And who cares if people can't drink there? As stated prior...there's a bar down the street...really no reason to get your panties in a bunch. |
