8 years old article is proving truer every year.

I'm tired of hearing all this junk about how the U.S. and China need each other and would never go to war. The markets change, eventually we may be the China of Brazil.

Only fighting proxy wars is real.

China downgrades our credit rating, lol.

" The US is a society that is based on extreme individualism and governed by the law of the jungle.

In American society one can live only by way of racketeering, but without fraud and swindle one becomes a living dead who is denied even the elementary rights to food, clothing and housing. Nevertheless, the rulers trumpet about welfare and equality for all. This is the reality of corrupt American society.

In the US all sorts of crimes are rampant and the people’s vital and inviolable rights are exposed to constant threats.

The gunfires are plaguing the society like a malignant epidemic.

Rights to get job, to be fairly paid for the work done and to be provided with safe and hygienic working conditions exist in name only.

Although there are gaudy signboards of liberty, democracy and civilization in the US, a scrutiny into the reality shows that the socio-political and civil rights of most of the working people are grossly violated institutionally and the healthy development of the ideological and cultural fields is impeded due to the prevalence of social evils."

I'd say this sentence is not far from truth.

Our hegemonic influence has faded more than a pair of hipsters jeans on a Sunday morning orgy.

China has upended us as the worlds' global superpower; but lest we forget, our country was robbed on purpose. The fed money streamlining into the IMF an World Bank's reserves should alarm us; the powers that be (ie. The worlds' 'Risk and Stratego' players) are going to fund sides of WWIII until they reap war profits again, thus making history repeat itself.

Only not learning lessons from the last 200 years of brutal revolution and wars is real.

Only having false lessons taught in schools is fake.

Our economy does depend on China. 90% of the shit we use on a daily basis has been made in either china or some other southeast asian country. If we did something to fuck up our relations wih China and lets say they kicked our US manufacturing operations out of the country we'd be all fucked up. Why? Well because then we would have to manufacture everything here. But how can THAT be a bad thing? Well no one wants to buy a toothbrush for twice the amount it costs now because here we would have to pay the workers an actual salary. Its sad but true.

I wouldn't mind buying most things American if they were made the American way, aka out of real materials and built to last.

I mean, back in the day garments used to be made in America and you could own a pair of pants that lasted 10-20 years. Everything I've worn made in Pakistan/India/China has been far inferior to American made of the same style.

That being said we've given into the paradigm that Aldous Huxely lampooned, the spend rather than mend mentality. Thus an increasing amount of American products have been downgraded in an attempt to compete with Asian goods, American cars being a prime example...Japanese cars are still far superior in price and quality to most American cars.

What we are missing though is that China is starting to even out with us, they subsidize their exports with taxpayer money and put tariffs on imported goods, that model can't last forever. What they want to do is create a monopoly by first destroying American manufacturing and then once this has been secured (and surprisingly we are still far off from losing our manufacturing industry though the MSM will report otherwise) China will slowly stop subsidizing their exports and we will watch as Chinese goods rise in price to what we consider American prices.
But of course we will probably switch to importing from Vietnam, Pakistan, India, or South America more heavily. And of course Africa is still the wild card as both China and the U.S. are waging a proxy war of sorts for control of resources and markets.

But whatever we do we can't blame ourselves (the consumer) because then we'd be commie-pinko terrorist lovers.

The way I see it is that every dollar is a vote, you can either vote for China or you can vote for the U.S.

Ameriguh, fuck yeah.
