i bought this on a whim the other day, based mainly on the names attached to it, being Dan O'Bannon and Stan Winston. i don't know how i had never heard of it before. this was so good in so many ways, if only modern day horror could be as much fun. awesome plot, acting, and ending. the end is fairly predictable once you see it, but i watched it without trying to figure it out the whole time. this is Jack Albertson's last movie, the guy who played the grandfather in Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory. strongly recommended for anyone looking for a good ol' fashioned 80's horror movie.
