Last night I decided to see if I could get Intheshit onto the Metal Archives. I doubted they would be accepted, but I figured why not (you know me!).

Well... they got accepted! INTHESHIT is on the Metal Archives!

Yeah metal archives is moderated by 14 year old trolls. Psytoxia got rejected 3 or 4 times before we finally got accepted. Our page is wicked out of date though and i have no idea how to get it updated.

Woah you can do that? I gotta figure shit out but i know our picture and logo are both like 5 years old now and need to be changed. We also need like 3 things added to the Discography section. I'll get back to you.

Yeah.. they want you to prove you are an actual band with physical releases (mp3 on MySpace doesn't cut it).. and if you are goregrind, GTFO, cuz they won't approve you..

I'm veteran thus I can update pretty much everything except genre and band name.

the metal archives is supremely flawed but it's still an awesome resource, thus I like adding stuff to it and updating the info. /metal archives rant

yet at the same time, i have found so many bands where the only link is myspace, sometimes not even that. i love the accessibility of that site, but the moderation and reviewing is painfully awful.

yes, the 14 year old metal GENIUSES at metal archives said boarcorpse wasn't metal and that there was no release.
2nd submission I took a pic of the demo and it was a different 14 year old. It got accepted. Site is a JOKE!

Back when I was 14/15/16 my friends and I used to get banned on a weekly basis for trying to add goregrind bands and bullshit releases by bands already accepted.. oh and Michael Jackson
