my dad used to rock Van Halen before he turned lame, so i remember hearing it at like 4 years old. Ain't Talkin' Bout Love and Eruption are killer songs.

I can listen to the first 4 albums all the way through. Then Eddie decided he liked keyboards better.

For some reason I've been looking through my old 80's guitar magazines, and one has a long interview with Eddie, I think it was around when 5150 came out. He was talking about how he was now interested in keyboards and crafting a good song, and no longer that interested in guitar. So sad.

I got a promo copy of the 1st album a few weeks before it came out from the music store some of my older sister's friends worked at, January 1978.
I thought KISS was the be-all, end-all... this record really woke me up, changed my life.
I saw them that summer open for Black Sabbath ('Never Say Die!' tour) at the Cape Cod Colliseum and the BLEW SABBATH AWAY with no lights, no drum riser, and with only 5 cabs on the stage.

I have all the David Lee Roth VH albums on Vinyl. One of the best investments I've ever made.

this album is the reason i started to play guitar and essentially the reason i listen to heavy music.

I'm the one?.....c'mon
