I have my original appetite for destruction shirt from seventh grade.

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Jun 11,2010 11:50am
aside from certain songs being overplayed for 20 years, this album still makes me rock out with my cock out

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Jun 11,2010 11:57am
slash's solo at the end of paradise city is still ridiculous

One of those albums that I wish never existed. I can't fucking stand it. Forced to hear "Sweet Child...", and all that other crap everywhere I go it seems.

Fuck GnR.

Funny this thread came up. I'm listening to GnR right now.

toggletoggle post by arktouros at Jun 11,2010 12:47pm
Wow, never thought I'd see this thread. Not a bad album by any means but these days it leaves such a bad taste in my mouth ears.

if i didnt hear all the songs all the time on every radio station ever and at every event ever all the time forever and always always....id love this album.

toggletoggle post by timma at Jun 11,2010 1:01pm
I still enjoy this one. I gained even more of an appreciation for it after I read Slash's biography.

Him and Duff did enough drugs to eradicate the entire Cambodian race.

toggletoggle post by FuckIsMySignature at Jun 11,2010 1:05pm
i cant understand how bands like this were able to be so productive in the studio after doing so many hard drugs.

toggletoggle post by Yeti at Jun 11,2010 1:06pm
i'd like to re-listen to this since i pay no attention to the radio and haven't heard the songs in ages. i've been doing that and finding a lot of awesome albums i didn't pay attention to before. speaking of...

July 24th or so, best GnR cover band is in Boston. Saw them a few months ago at the middle east but don't remember much other than running into Eric the Giant

toggletoggle post by Yeti at Jun 11,2010 1:09pm
i saw a GnR cover band on a booze cruise around Boston Harbor, i just don't remember the name. they were amazing.

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Jun 11,2010 1:11pm edited Jun 11,2010 1:11pm
I mean yea, this has been over played too much. But not all the songs... The best ones barely get airwaves now

The Illusions were more intricate and dynamic... but they also weren't as consistently good from start to finish.

Had there been one single Illusion album with the best stuff (or even two that weren't overflowing, cutting out the weak songs), then it would beat Appetite hands down, but that isn't what happened.

November Rain is the song that introduced me to metal, though, so it's kind of a close one.

When Aril's talking to himself

..And no bodies home

He can fool himself, he plays counter strike alone

...Alone

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Jun 11,2010 3:54pm
counter strike? bunch o pansies play that.

toggletoggle post by Pires at Jun 11,2010 6:13pm
Minus all the radio bullshit, this is a great album. I still rock the fuck out to my michelle and rocket queen.

toggletoggle post by ArrowHead Logged In .... Or NOT! at Jun 11,2010 8:52pm
Loved the album when it came out. Now I never ever listen to it. Only thing on there I'd still dig is the end part of Rocket Queen

Hahahaha...

When I was still gonna be getting married, everybody in Darkwor was involved somehow except for Black Steve. So I told him he could stand in the frog pond on a piano wearing a top hat and shred during the ceremony.

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Jun 13,2010 10:59am
Why is ge called "Black" Steve again?

toggletoggle post by arktouros at Jun 13,2010 10:59am
he's half puerto rican and the darkest member of darkwor.

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Jun 13,2010 11:00am
Darkwor is racist

toggletoggle post by arktouros at Jun 13,2010 11:03am
it's easier to say 'black' or 'white' instead of 'santos' or 'smith'. less syllables, or something.

I'll take "C", "because he hates it."
