I know the Pats will not go after him, but do you think they should? I do. The guy is good plain and simple. Do it, do it.

Ha, what the hell. Back on topic. What do you think about Sharper to the Pats?

toggletoggle post by RustyPS  at Apr 29,2010 8:42am
safety is the last thing they need....but I do like Sharper

It's a good thing SkinSandwich doesn't run the show.

71 Tackles, 9 INTs, 3 TDs THAT is how you do a contract season. The man is coming off an amazing season. It was partially due to the fact that the Saints had teams playing from behind a lot, and they were forced to stretch the field. The Saints had 26 INTs on the year so it was hardly isolated to just Sharper. But the guy is an undeniable playmaker.

I don't see the Pats being competitive in going after Sharper. This is the deepest the Pats have been at safety since the Lawyer Milloy era and they're rotating in young guys like Chung. While I would like to see a veteran presence back there to help out, I don't see Sharper as a reality for the Pats.

If I'm the GM of St. Louis I'd already be loading up a dump truck full of money to drive to Sharper's house. Their secondary is hopeless.
