...and it wasn't listed on the events or no one said anything? Not sure how I missed this.
King Crimson songs and ELP songs ftw.

Lynn Auditorium- anyone been there before?

how am I not surprised that no one cares about good music here?

toggletoggle post by Yeti at Apr 12,2010 1:07pm
motherfucker. i would have loved this.

toggletoggle post by i_am_not_me   at Apr 12,2010 1:16pm
WTF? How did I not hear about this?

toggletoggle post by DreadKill  at Apr 12,2010 1:22pm
i saw the signs for it when i was up in that area for easter. i posted about it somewhere on rttp but not in events.

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Apr 12,2010 1:24pm
Exactly how I feel. No offense to any of the metal shows/bands that night, but this was THE show to be at.

Rttp event posters, you failed once again!

Wait, they played king crimson.

I lived in lynn, knew about this show for months, sorry dude...didn't think anyone here would care.

My friend shouted to me in the car one day when we saw the sign at the beach: "WHAT ABOUT PALMER!??"

Also, Auditorium is beautiful, huge...high vaulted ceilings. Same building as town hall.

FUCK!

and they played in fucking New Bedford on Saturday!?!?

Seriously?

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Apr 12,2010 2:55pm
Well I heard ELP was getting back together for a full blown tour. I hope that's true and this wasn't it.
Talk about amazing live experience; perhaps better than any metal show.

WHAT THE FUCK!!

toggletoggle post by TheRidersofDoom  at Apr 12,2010 3:05pm
Believe it or not, Lynn gets lots of washed up old musicians, aka awesome musicians that the main stream forgot about.

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Apr 12,2010 3:12pm
Is that why Dwyer only plays in Lynn?

toggletoggle post by AndrewBastard, $Version=1 at Apr 12,2010 3:17pm
Why so many cancelled shows?

The ads for the ELP show in New Bedford were all over the radio for the past 2 months or so. Thought you knew already...otherwise I would have mentioned it.

Radio...?

toggletoggle post by sigh at Apr 12,2010 4:36pm
Usually on somewhere else and overhear it. Or when I forget my phone at work when I leave for lunch.

toggletoggle post by My_Dying_Bride at Apr 12,2010 8:34pm
i tried getting tickets for this but it was pretty much sold out within 2 weeks. couple seats behind what looked to be a pillar were not worth 60 bucks. still, should have looked on craiglists for last minute bailouts

the djs at zlx were masturbating about this show for months.
