Weeds should have ended when the town burned down.

I'm wondering about heroes. I freaking love that show, but lost interest.
I hope it doesn't go.

while I agree that seasons 3 and 4 were subpar, I thought season 5 was great

With a handful of shows(simpsons, family guy, Seinfeld, stargate, etc) most shows should stop at season 3

toggletoggle post by ark at Mar 30,2010 10:13am
Yeah, the kid really cleans house. The end made the season for me.

season 5 of The Shield is the greatest single season of TV ever IMO, so I would say some shows can keep it fresh....or at least recover, like the aforementioned Weeds

not every show has great writers though

As much as I hate to say it because it was one of my favorite shows of all time I have to say "Nip/Tuck." Basically as soon as they left Miami to go to California that's when the creditability and story lines of the show plummeted. All the twists and turns seemed forced in the newer seasons.

If The Simpsons hadn't made this list I would have killed someone. Fuck zombie simpsons.

And just in case anyone was wondering, The Simpsons movie ate a dick.

The Simpsons movie at a huge dick. I want to tear people's eyes out when they say it was alright.

I don't know how anyone can watch this shit or tv in general. I couldn't even sit through half of the last Simpsons. South Park is tits though.

toggletoggle post by C.DeAd at Mar 30,2010 12:02pm
I just realized I've never even watched these shows. 24, Heroes, etc. are shows my boring co-workers and parents talk about.

Hope they do another season of Curb...

new season starts in June...they have 2 more seasons left and are planning on having the series finale on Sept. 11, 2011

as far as Rescue Me goes, season 5 was definitely subpar, but its because it was WAY too long, and the writers ended up dragging out stories because of it....although the end of the season was fantastic

toggletoggle post by The_Rooster  at Mar 30,2010 12:58pm
Family Guy should've thrown in the towel after the 2nd season. Show is unwatchable now.

24... definitely. Season 1 was fantastic.

I haven't watched an episode of the Simpsons in like 10 years.

Heroes should've quit after the first season.

How about shows that ended WAY too early for no explicable reason:

Deadwood
Carnivale
John From Cincinatti

Still angry about Deadwood.

X-Files had a long run but I thought it was strong to the end.

Lucky Louie was great, but at least the episode that ended the season is also a good end to the series. However short it may have been.

Twin Peaks needed another season, so much up in the air at the end.

i agree, it would have been interesting to watch it change with the times over the years and see where they take it.

I'm watching Battlestar Gallactica season 4 right now, and it's fucking awesome. They should make 4 more seasons.

And yes, Seinfeld Never should have stopped. (i love that Seinfeld is in RTTP's spell check yet "RTTP" is not.
