Elder fuckin jams. People should be allowed to do resin hits indoors at this show. No weed smoking... only resin hits. And the walls ought be adorned with blacklight posters. Bodypainted nakedladies also encouraged. (No fatties)
oh awesome...Cant wait to see you guys again, especially on such a sick lineup!!! I'll be the one yelling KINTAAN IS LOUDER THAN MANOWAR from the back of the room
Was so fucking stoked for this... and then my friend had to have his bachelor party in Jersey this weekend. Fortunately titties, bourbon and ill reefer are an sufficient consolation prize. Had some great flyers to hand out, too. Oh well. Should be a fucking ripper. Have fun tomorrow!
Not gonna make it tonight. My toilet exploded and got everywhere covered in water (fortunately clean) and they had to shut off the water in the building fml
This was a pretty rockin' show all around. I stepped out to 7/11 after Black Pyramid and missed some of Elder, but that was really the only snag. Black Pyramid and Elder both rocked, Kintaan sounded like some music I'd really like to chill out to at home, and Thou was pretty much a wrecking ball of sound. Kick ass show.
if you missed this show......punch yourself in the dick now.
kintaan - first time seeing them. fucking loud.....and i dont think they turned up past 3. very expirimental awesomeness. dug the drummers odd style.
Black Pyramid - Rocking set as always. Love the drummer faces. it's like he's telling an evil story to keep time. rad. they actually seemed pretty quiet compared to kintaan. kaybe its cause kintaan was on the floor and BP was up on stage. New tour shirt is pretty badass.
Elder - the crowd was way into it. they played on the floor in the corner. didnt dig the sound from where i was standing but they crushed as always.
Thou - First time seeing them and really checking them out in general. it was a punch in the dick. fucking awesome. If i didn't drink all them ESB drafts I would have bought a cd. Lots of heavy fucking headbanging. mini stoner mosh pit broke out for one song. Really nice dudes from baton rougue/new orleans. Hope they come back.
