Drummer and Guitarist in their mid-late 20's looking for a vocalist, bassist, second guitarist, and keyboardist.
The sound we have going so far is a mixture of grindcore, speedy black metal with brutal death metal breaks.

Experience, pro gear, good attitude, and providing your own transportation is a must.

hah, you can talk to John (aka- atthehaunted) about that. I have only listened to him play a couple of that bands' songs... I didnt hate them, but, I didn't rush home to go on their myspace. I respect where he's coming from.
There's no way ANYONE could list 38 underground extreme metal bands and NOT list a band that rubs people the wrong way.  |

pundy fucks can't get enough godsmack hinder cocks and nickelback covers. if they dont like that then it's either really safe sounding mid tempo middle aged white man jazz, church music, or whiney acoustic covers...
this area just sucks. period. if you wanna play metal, be willing to travel out of here. the musicians are around, there just isn't interest in going out to see music. |

true, i'm still naive in the belief that there has to be people somewhere out here. maybe i just need to post on multiple local craigslist musicians' sections (RI, cape cod, south of Boston)...
that or we're gonna have to settle for being a recording-only band... |

i'm just saying... the only almost cool heavy-ish project i've been able to get people around here other than my band interested in is a chick fronted prog band that sounds like a mix of early rush and black album/load era metallica. (i'm waiting to get hosed on that)
i gotta drive two hours to get to hive smasher practice and basically any of the shows are an hour or more away.
if you don't mind the fact that i might not be able to practice every week (sometimes twice though, depending on my schedule) i would like to help you out provided the vibe is cool i.e. the music and people don't suck and I don't get dumped on for smoking trees and drinking beer (another popular SE MA thing among musicians, go figure)
if that sounds cool and you live in dartmouth, come by the symphony shop sometime this week (not tuesday) and ask for tyler. i'm usually there from 10-5/6ish |

That area sucks for musicians. I had luck at UMD finding other black and death metal fans/musicians but that took a while. Could be different now.

@t2daeek: yeah, we talked before and i actually showed up at the shop one time during the working hours you gave me, but your boss said you had left early that day. idk what happened after that.... oh, and, we practice in the drummers basement so i dont really think you can smoke in the house, but you'll really have to talk to him about that (his RttP sn is on this page, it's 'atthehaunted')
