I just went on a mini vinyl spree. Hells's Headbanger's Records - Armageddon Shop - and a couple CD's at the Haxen show.

Profanatica - Grand Masters Session

"Finally available from the original Grand Masters of mesmerizing barbaric
black metal filth! Recorded with a full line-up "live in the studio", a raging
2008 session showcasing many of the classics, a few newer hits and an
exclusive medley (a conglomerate of 5 songs) all sprawled across three (3x)
custom 8" records housed in a branded wooden box set. As reflected in the
retail price, only the highest quality materials & printing processes have been
utilized. Absolutely mandatory for collectors, vinyl enthusiasts, and those
looking for a supplement to the raw rehearsal demos ejaculated in the early 90's."

Nunslaughter - Black

So cool - I got this in the regular edition and as a CD. In addition, I managed to get a limited copy printed on ripped bible pages.

"OUT NOW on HHR: First 100 hand-numbered copies on CLEAR Vinyl with
bible page jacket & embroidered patch of the cover logo (bible pages
ripped & mounted by Don of the Dead).
All other copies on Black Vinyl with black hard-board jacket & insert
printed with black ink.

The Masters of Devil Metal Death with their latest EP for February 2010
simply dubbed "Black" in reference to the visual aesthetic of the peculiar
packaging. Features four brand new studio blasphemies that you won’t
find on any of their other 100+ releases: Fuck The Bastard, Before You
Cast A Spell, Yet The Odor Still Lingers, Grave Grave."

Sixx - Sister Devil

I love Von, an I was interested in hearing this. It really does have a Death and June streak. Not metal per se, but does mix well with the Von material. I snatched this at Armageddon. This is the deluxe version from Nuclear War Now. Yosuke makes great suff and went over the top with this release.

Double heavy weight red vinyl (45 RPM)
Textured case wrapped jacket (spot UV Gloss + silver foil stamp)
A2 poster
12″ x 12″ insert
Replica of Goat’s “Ugly Self” poetry zine from 1993
Vinyl sticker
Embroidered patch

Slaughter - Surrender or Die

Their awesome demo. Pic Disc with outer die cut sleeve.
Insert cool layout. Hells Headbangers can take a demo
and turn it into vinyl gold.

Plus I picked up these on CD for $4 each at the Haxen/Sewer Goddess show.

I've had them on tape for ages, then downloaded. It's about time I got them on CD. Vinyl would be better, but for $8 how can you go wrong.

There are so many albums that I love, which I don't own on CD or LP. So bizarre sometimes.

Catacombs - In the Depths of R'lyeh

Really depressing Funeral Doom / Death. This is a double picture LP dedicated to Lovecraftian Nightmares. This is what Cthulhu listens to at night.

It has been at the North Attleboro Newbury Comics for ages. Every now and then I poke through the vinyl they have and this has been hiding in the back. I like the release, but I never felt like shelling out like $28 for it. Recently a bunch of vinyl got marked down and this was just $16. It has clearly been moved around a gazillion times, and the plastic slip cover was filthy with mulltiple stickers on it. Surprisingly the vinyl is great condition. It was inevitable that I was going to get this.

I got Cannabis Corpse - The Weeding on organge vinyl. Oddly enough the orange and lime green back cover match my room mint.

I was thinking of getting the weeding. I have Tube of the Resinated (which comes with this outrageous fold out poster). How is it?

There was a copy of Tube of the Resinated sitting in that North Attleboro Newbury Comics for a long time that I picked up.

The Weeding is a pretty awesome record, quick listen of two songs on each side, the guitar tone isn't quite as heavy but the songs are still pretty kick ass. My copy of that is actually on magenta wax.
