legit, find someone who plays to show you some stuff. I tried learning from a book and dvd, and only when my boss busted out his banjo did things actually make sense.

I think Jeff from 12 Step is probably a better player than Jay, but I haven't really kept in touch with him since the whole "they decided to kick him out of the band after I joined" thing.

I wasn't bad, far from performance worthy. I think with practice (duh!) I could get back to my old place and then some.
