pretty great day for me, football wise:

1) Pats won big and finally played a complete game
2) Colts lost, albeit to the Jets, but still
3) Saints lost to THE BUCS...HAHAHAHA
4) Houston dominated Miami, fantastic
5) the Giants got dominated by Carolina, and left the Meadowlands with their tails between their legs....amazing
6) its seems as though I won the RTTP fantasy league
7) maybe most importantly, I've unofficially won the fantasy league I'm in with my friends, earning myself like $300 or something

I need to do a pay league next year. I do way too well in my leagues (3 teams, 2 playing for 3rd place, 1 with a 50 point lead in a 2 week championship playoff and A.P. hasn't even played yet) to be in the bush leagues still.

I only started doing a pay league last year...we have everyone who makes the playoffs (4 teams) at least get their money back

buy in was $35 last year, $50 this year...I think we're gonna keep it at $50 from now on

my friend is about to win our league after losing in the championship game for the last 3 years. he also lost a championship game 8 years ago. i lost last week in the second round for the 3rd year in a row, but at least someone broke a bad luck streak.

Seems to be that time of year the some high flying teams get sloppy and others that have been in the trenches step up. I have a feeling Indy is gonna phone it in like no other against the Bills. Same with the Saints and the Vikings are looking more suspect as Bret Farve looks older as it gets colder.

You kind of should have seen it coming. The Colts had been saying all week they were looking for any opportunity to rest their starters. I sat both Wayne and Addai. There were plenty of good waiver wire pickups to be made. Jerome Harrison anyone?
