Yeah, that's actually an old joke Economists make all the time.
A recession is when your neighbor loses his job.
A depression is when you lose your job.
I give Biden credit for not caring about the media consequences for the things he says.
Not a depression yet, you need a few more years of this stuff under our belts. Since parts of the economy actually are recovering, we won't make it there.
the only thing recovering is the stock market which is completely run by corrupt banks ...like everything else.
This.
The economy will fall again within another year or two, then we'll enter into another war.
History repeats itself, and it saddens me that we're in the "tyrannical" state that Plato boldly talked about in The Republic.
Not to be an Alex Jones spokesperson (I disagree with a lot of things he talks about), but his new film "The Fall of the Republic" comes out today. We should all watch it, regardless of it it's "conspiracy" bullshit. A lot of it is truth about the corruption of the corporate elite.
All I know is that there's only one law in Bartertown.

A high fat, low carb diet, a ratio of about 1:1 omega 3 to omega 6 fatty acids, and some sunlight or vitamin D supplements have been known to help those with depression restabilize themselves.
is it available online or do i have buy the damn thing
It should be available online tonight, or within the next few days. All of his docs make it on youtube, google video, or whatever else. He put lots of money in this one and interviews some prominent people.. should be interesting.

I thought it was already clarified that Biden meant "If you're out of a job, you call it a depression. Millions of people are in a depression right now." and not "The United States is in a depression."
