Finnish metallers KALMAH have completed work on their sixth album for an early 2010 release via Spinefarm Records. The CD, which previously had a working title of "12 Gauge", was recorded between June and August 2009 at Tico Tico studio in Kemi, Finland and was mastered at the Cutting Room in Sweden. Nine new songs and one cover version were laid down during the sessions which "went pretty smoothly," the band says. "We had everything pretty much ready before the studio and it was easy to just concentrate on the sound and perfection of the performance. The sound, well, of course the sound is great. We managed to dig out more depression and aggression overall." read more
