Wow, I missed this thread. Saw it twice. Once in the theaters in English and once at home with subtitles.
It's amazing! It's hard for an american to understand a love story involving five-year-olds but the animation is easily ghibli and miyazaki's best and the story is touching to the end (though best story probably goes to Spirited Away).
