LIKE IT MORE!!!!

It's incredible. Listened to the whole album about 9823765983729872349857 times and still loving it.

I wouldn't say it's amazing, but it isn't bad at all. The vocals are a bit lower, the breakdowns are a little bit more slammy and the solos sound a bit more mature but still retain the usual Dying Fetus shred quality. I don't ever expect bands like Dying Fetus to ever create anything much different so it isn't a let down nor is it a huge surprise. I wish some of the grooves lasted longer though.

I want the damn CD rip of this. fuck. pissing me off.

toggletoggle post by sxealex   at Sep 7,2009 3:16pm
its a good album but kinda doesnt sound like em half the time

toggletoggle post by menstrual_sweatpants_disco   at Sep 10,2009 4:17pm
Eliot just forced me into a discussion about this. I then relistened to Killing on Adrenaline. Kevin Talley > all other DF drummers.

Talley's sense of groove and creativity overall wins.

toggletoggle post by menstrual_sweatpants_disco   at Sep 10,2009 4:18pm
Plus he looks JUST like Kevin Bacon.

toggletoggle post by BSV at Sep 15,2009 12:43am
total respect for this band. i've seen them about a dozen times as a three piece and they kill every fucking time. john's songwriting is never dull.

toggletoggle post by goatcatalyst   at Sep 15,2009 1:03am
Haven't listened yet, but I can't imagine them topping Killing On Adrenaline. That album is the tits.

toggletoggle post by STFU at Sep 15,2009 1:06am
sucks balls

toggletoggle post by titd nli at Sep 15,2009 7:08am
they are sooooo good/tight live.. the show at the middle east a little while ago was fucking INTENSE. would love to see them again in a small place like that again

toggletoggle post by titd nli at Sep 15,2009 7:08am

That was the tightest I've ever seen a band play live.

Bought the CD yesterday - jamming it right now & enjoying it thoroughly. The CD booklet is one of the best looking I've seen in a long time.

toggletoggle post by SW at Sep 19,2009 6:59pm
yeah just got this cd today and it kills. in a way it IS amazing because of the fact of how long they've been around and with all the garbage that comes out today. this album is a perfect balance between speed/tech and heavy ass riffs. while i do agree that talley's groove was way better, trey just melts faces on this.

toggletoggle post by Hoser at Sep 19,2009 7:32pm
Good God, I love this album.

toggletoggle post by fishcakes at Sep 20,2009 1:59am
fucking awesome!

toggletoggle post by goatcatalyst   at Sep 20,2009 3:43am
Still haven't listened and its still not as good as Killing On Adrenaline

toggletoggle post by AUTOPSY_666   at Sep 22,2009 1:14am
Might be!

toggletoggle post by MarkFuckingRichards  at Sep 22,2009 1:26am
Dying Fetus would need to rekindle their epic groove factor to ever come out with something as good as Killing On Adrenaline or Destroy The Opposition. I like all their material, even Stop At Nothing, but since DTO they have been steadily losing their signature memorable groove.

toggletoggle post by menstrual_sweatpants_disco   at Sep 22,2009 9:27am
Agreed. Plus Talley would always come up with really creative shit to compliment everything instead of just doing single stroke rolls across the kit. boooooooooring.

toggletoggle post by Yeti at Sep 22,2009 10:35am
hopefully its better than War of Attrition.

toggletoggle post by C.DeaD at Sep 22,2009 10:55am
Last one I heard was "Killing...." and that was pretty good. I saw the above video and wow they changed for the worse.

toggletoggle post by The_Rooster  at Sep 22,2009 12:11pm
Good god, that song in the video is boring shit.

This drummer is about as interesting as watching water boil.

Reafirms my stance that post-talley/netherton DF is poo.

listening to war of attrition right now...what did people think of this? I'm freaking loving it. innnnnttttttense
