as far as service members. my step brother served in Iraq in he Marine Corps, my sister is about to do her second tour of Iraq before heading to Afghanistan.
So you're preaching to someone who has family there already and both of my family members have been in the service for 10+ years.
and those are just the ones who are alive and still serving, so take it easy grill some cheese, nuke some tomato soup and realize Biggie is just gonna say whatever he wants if it bothers you he's gonna do it more.
