AP is the best back in the league. But he's been shut down before when teams realized they could afford to cram everybody into the box and take their chances on T-Jack and the Viking passing game.
When Favre blows out his arm by week 5 it's going to be the same story. Sidney Rice, and Percy Harvin both have potential to not suck, but if Favre's arm strength looks anything like it did in the tail end of last season then kiss their deep threats goodbye. Then again Bernard Berrian has never had a good quarterback, and he's always produced. |

I'm so sick of hearing about Brett Favre. I really think the soap opera he's created has tarnished his legacy as a great quarterback.
I think the Vikings are really thinking they can pull out some victories in the playoffs but I don't see it happening, with or without Favre. The way he played in New York should be an indication that he practically has nothing left to offer. I look forward to seeing the experiment crash and burn.
Oh, and he's getting paid way too much to play this season. $10-12 million?? Come on now. |

I read a few interviews w/ New York Jets players who said he would never hang out with the other players. Hell, he even had his own office and shit in NY. He is a piece of shit. That's what Tanguay and Zolak were saying on the sports hub yesterday. ALSO, they said that while in Green Bay, they wouldn't start conferences until he showed up, ie: if there was a conference/meeting at 10 am, he would often roll in around 11 am or later, and nobody would say a thing.
Fuck that guy, here's to hoping someone from Green Bay's defense does the same thing to him as Bernard Pollard did to Tom Brady last year. |
